Morning Prayer

Morning Offering https://www.morningoffering.com/

O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer you my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of your Sacred Heart, in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians, an increase in vocations, bringing our children and grandchildren and siblings and nieces and nephews and their significant others back to the Church and to prayer, an increase in me of safe driving, faith, hope, love, gratitude, good and right judgment, patience, humility, repentance, mercy, perseverance, charity, joy and good cheer, and for the Holy Spirit to guide the Church. Amen.

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner.

Let the joy of the Lord be my strength!

Lord, in the midst of worry and distress, send us peace of heart.

O, Holy Spirit, beloved of my soul, I adore You. Enlighten me, guide me, strengthen me, console me. Tell me what I should do. Give me Your orders. I promise to submit myself to all that You desire of me and to accept all that You permit to happen to me. Let me only know Your will.

Lord, I am perishing, save me!

Jesus, I trust in You!

Lord, I do believe, help my unbelief.

From anxiety about the future, Deliver me, Jesus.

From resentment or excessive preoccupation with the past, Deliver me, Jesus.

That You give me the grace to accept forgiveness and to forgive others, Jesus, I trust in you.

“Guard against anger. But if it cannot be averted, let it be kept within bounds. For indignation is a terrible incentive to sin. It disorders the mind to such an extent as to leave no room for reason.” St. Ambrose

Hinder not the little children to come unto me.

Whatever you do for the least of these…

“Make it a practice to judge persons and things in the most favorable light at all times and under all circumstances.” St. Vincent de Paul

“What men need is not to crush and kill their powers, but to find their true use and to use them.” Fr. Basil Maturin

When the path seems unclear, and I have lost sight of my goal: Lord, show me your law of love.
When I need to do what is right, but do not know the way: Lord, show me your law of love.
When I have let hatred dwell in my heart, and have forgotten the demands of charity: Lord, show me your law of love.

Lord, I leave the past to your mercy, the present to your love, and the future to your providence.

Dear God, if today I lose my hope please remind me that your plans are better than my dreams.

Deliver me O God from the love of my own comfort, from the fear of having nothing, from a life of worldly passions, from a need to be understood, from a need to be accepted, from the fear of being lonely, from the fear of serving others, from the fear of death or trial, from the fear of humility.

Lord, give us the grace to listen to your voice and harden not our hearts. Create in me, O Lord, a new, understanding heart, open to all the possibilities you offer for loving, sharing, and reconciliation.

St. Joseph, intercede for us that we may see others in terms of mercy instead of judgment.

Lord, give me whatever the Blessed Virgin Mary asks for me.

REMEMBER, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother; to you do I come; before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

Dear Lord, bless us and our children and grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins and all their significant others, we ask for them the graces of faith, hope, love, conversion, trust and belief, final perseverance, and a good Catholic spouse, and we ask that with the help of our guardian angels we and all of our children and grandchildren, siblings, nieces and nephews, cousins, friends, colleagues, all their significant others and previous spouses come to be joyful honest Christians of faith, hope, love, prayer, charity, gratitude, forgiveness, repentance, perseverance, good and right judgment, patient endurance, humility, mercy, patience, kindness, generosity, self-control, and good cheer.

Lord, have mercy on me a sinner! Jesus, I trust in you!

Amen
